Through the information released on the official website of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, Agricultural and Animal Husbandry Information 365 summarized the global African swine fever epidemic situation in April 2024, as follows:

1. There were 25 outbreaks of African swine fever in wild boars in Latvia

　　On April 2 and 8, Latvia reported 25 outbreaks of African swine fever in wild boars in five places, including Zemugari district, and 82 wild boars were infected and died.

2. There were three outbreaks of African swine fever in wild boars in Greece

　　On April 2, 3 and 9, Greece reported three outbreaks of African swine fever in wild boars in two places, including Macedonia and the Tres region, and three wild boars were infected and died.

3. There were 65 outbreaks of African swine fever in wild boars in Italy

　　On April 3 and 10, Italy reported 65 cases of African swine fever in wild boars in 4 places, including Piedmont, and 65 wild boars were infected and died.

4. There were 23 outbreaks of African swine fever in wild boars in Hungary

　　On April 3 and 9, Hungary reported 23 outbreaks of African swine fever in wild boars in 5 places, including Komarom Oblast, and 25 wild boars were infected and died.
