Chasing the light, the stars are shining
In April 2024, the original large-scale music and dance program "Chasing the Light" of the Dance Club of Wanzhou No. 2 Middle School was invited to participate in the 10th anniversary of the overall national security concept and innovation leadership, and Wanzhou District's "Drawing a 'Great Country Security' to Build a Dream of a New Wanzhou" art show. The students danced beautifully and tacitly cooperated, winning praise from all walks of life, interpreting the belief of chasing light, and showing the vitality of youth and firm faith.
This is not the first time that the program "Chasing the Light" has received such praise, and it will surprise everyone as soon as it performs in the 2023 National Defense Education-themed ideological and political activities. The students' performances not only demonstrated the strength and level of the school's dance club, but also reflected the efforts and achievements of Wanzhou No. 2 Middle School in cultivating all-round talents.

The Wanzhou No. 2 Middle School Dance Club was established in September 2021. The club is equipped with teachers with excellent professional skills and aesthetic awareness. During the training process, teachers give students detailed guidance on their professional skills, actively explore students' artistic potential, and focus on cultivating their teamwork spirit and sense of innovation. Through the development of dance art activities, the school promotes the all-round development of students' physical fitness, artistic ability, intellectual ability and temperament.
