This year, Changping District will carry out fine management of the environment of 79 back streets and alleys, focusing on building 18 boutique streets and alleys, and at the same time use 26 demolished plots around the streets and alleys, add 751 parking spaces, build 2 small amusement parks and a number of public service facilities, etc., to create back streets and alleys that highlight the cultural characteristics of the city and retain the atmosphere of fireworks.
The renovation of 79 back streets and alleys involves 16 towns and streets such as Chengbei Street, Chengnan Street, Shahe Town, and Beiqijia Town, and Changping District will take the back streets and alleys as a starting point to extend the management of bungalow courtyards and old communities in the surrounding areas, so as to solve the problems of messy overhead lines, garbage exposure, random parking of motor vehicles, and out-of-store operations in the surrounding area, and strive to create civilized and livable boutique streets and alleys.
"In the first stage, we will focus on building 18 boutique streets and alleys from the aspects of historical context, red memory, traditional culture, double-support demonstration, along the railway, and mass appeals. The second phase will make up for the shortcomings of the remaining 61 streets and alleys, and create a number of the most beautiful streets and alleys and Internet celebrity check-in places. According to the relevant person in charge of the Changping District Urban Management Committee, the whole district will also combine the work of demolishing illegal evacuation, receiving complaints and other work to weave and supplement the convenient space, and effectively solve the problems of mass demands such as the safety of students on Changliu Road and the water on the roads around the second street community of Chengbei Street.
