Yi Longqian, a native of Gaoqiao Town, Daguan County, participated in the first phase of the training of skilled workers in the bamboo industry in Daguan County in August 2018, becoming the leader among more than 300 trainees. In September 2019, Yi Longqian was selected by INBAR as a trainer to train skilled workers in the bamboo industry in Ghana, Africa, and spread traditional Chinese bamboo craft skills. Yi Longqian has studied hard and developed wall lamps, desktop and floor lamps, handicrafts and other products made of bamboo. In April 2021, he was awarded the title of "Yunnan Provincial Model Worker" by the People's Government of Yunnan Province.

While he became rich himself, he also radiated and drove the surrounding people to increase employment and income. In order to further expand the scale of development, Yi Longqian transferred more than 50 acres of bamboo forests in Xisha Village for bamboo reserves.
