On May 9, the summary and commendation meeting of the Fujian delegation of the first National Student (Youth) Games was held in Jimei University, aiming to commend the advanced collectives and outstanding individuals with outstanding performance in the first National Student Youth Games, and to encourage teachers and students in the province to continue to create a new situation in school sports work in the new era.
At this summary and commendation meeting, Xianyou No. 1 Middle School in our county was awarded the "Outstanding Contribution Award of the Fujian Delegation of the First National Student (Youth) Games", and it is the only model high school in the province that has won this honor.
It is reported that the first National Student (Youth) Games was formed by the merger of the original National Student Games and the National Youth Games, and is the highest level of comprehensive youth games in the country. In the first National Student (Youth) Games Campus Group Wushu Routine Competition, Zheng Ziran, a junior high school student from Xianyou No. 1 Middle School in our county, won the first place in the middle school group women's self-selected Changquan competition with a score of 9.623 points, and won the first gold for Fujian Province!
