Zou Hongmin was holding her exclusive "hoe" to loosen the soil for the fruit trees, looking at the cherries adorned with branches and the navel oranges and bee candy plums that were about to hang fruit, Zou Hongmin told about the ups and downs along the way.
In 2018, Zou Hongmin, a migrant worker, took a huge turn in his life, resulting in necrosis of his right hand and had to have his wrist amputated. Originally optimistic and cheerful, she couldn't accept her crippled body, and a few years after the operation, she could hardly see a smile on her face, but fortunately, with the company and encouragement and support of her family and relatives, she finally got out of the haze and began to learn new "skills". Many ordinary things can be done in an hour, but it takes her four or five hours, day after day, never discouraged, sometimes her right hand hurts when she works too much, she still gritted her teeth and persisted.
"I don't want to go on like this forever, and the people in the family will feel uncomfortable seeing it, only if I cheer up, this family will be better." Zou Hongmin said firmly.
Because Lutang Village has a good geographical advantage, the terrain is mainly hilly, the land is fertile, and the water resources are abundant, which is suitable for the development of planting and breeding industry. In 2020, Zou Hongmin and her husband saw the market prospect of the planting industry, so they developed more than ten acres of navel oranges, fed 300 chickens, and under their careful management, the gross income reached about 100,000 yuan. After tasting the sweetness, the couple wanted to expand the planting, so they developed the cultivation of bee sugar plums and cherries by leasing and replacing the land.
However, the heavens do not fulfill people's wishes, in Zou Hongmin's words, God does not give food. Last year's cherries were supposed to be a bumper harvest, but during the fruit-bearing period, a hailstorm extinguished Zou Hongmin's new expectations, and she was helpless to watch the cherry fruits that were knocked to the ground.
"Life depends on good and bad, good times alternate with bad times, and the world is impermanent, this may be life." may have experienced ups and downs, but now Zou Hongmin is very indifferent when he says this, this setback did not completely defeat her, but aroused her greater fighting spirit. After learning from the pain, she took care of the more than 30 acres of fruit groves more carefully, and her husband usually did odd jobs in the surrounding area, so she "cared for" each fruit tree like her own child. She said: "If you can't do it this year, just wait for the next year, there will always be a time for harvest." ”
Today, Zou Hongmin's orchard has all borne fruit, and the cherries have ushered in the picking period. In addition, she also purchased more than 50 chicken seedlings to develop understory chickens, and plans to continue to expand the scale of breeding in the future.
With the company of his family, the fruit forest industry has developed smoothly, Zou Hongmin said: "I believe that our days will get better and better!" ”
