Recently, the North Cargo Area of Wuhan Tianhe International Airport ushered in an important development milestone - Wuhan Tianhe Airport Bonded Logistics Center (Type B) and its supporting project, Wuhan Airport Logistics Park, successfully passed the completion acceptance, opening a new chapter in land-air intermodal transport.
Wuhan Tianhe Airport Bonded Logistics Center is jointly invested and constructed by Hubei Airport Group Co., Ltd., GLP (China) Holdings Co., Ltd., and Wuhan Airport Economic Zone Construction Investment and Development Group Co., Ltd., which is a key component of Wuhan's national comprehensive freight hub and a key project of the strategy of supplementing and strengthening the chain.

The project is located in the north cargo area of Wuhan Tianhe International Airport in Huangpi District, adjacent to the extension of the airport's first runway, and the project construction includes three functional areas: air cargo station, bonded logistics center (type B) and aviation logistics park, focusing on the development of aviation materials and aviation food, cross-border e-commerce, fresh cold chain and pharmaceutical trade and other aviation high value-added industries, and will form an aviation logistics ecosystem of the whole industry chain with Wuhan Tianhe Airport B insurance project as the core.
At present, the bonded logistics center of Wuhan Tianhe Airport has welcomed the first customer to settle in, and it is expected to be fully operational. The center is committed to providing one-stop logistics services integrating port logistics, trunk transportation and urban logistics, building an efficient and convenient land-air combined transport service system, helping customers in the park reduce costs and increase efficiency, improve supply chain operation efficiency, and fully integrate into the national strategy, accelerate the construction of a national comprehensive freight hub, and the economic development of Wuhan City Circle, and help Hubei build an important node of domestic circulation and an important hub of domestic and international dual circulation.
