The newly revised Law of the People's Republic of China on the Protection of Minors and the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Prevention of Juvenile Delinquency came into force on June 1, 2021.
The Law of the People's Republic of China on the Protection of Minors focuses on the protection of the lawful rights and interests of minors, and the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Prevention of Juvenile Delinquency focuses on the prevention and correction of undesirable behavior, illegal acts and criminal acts.
