To the "new" force, 1420 tons of Weihai to make "Dinghai Shen Needle"

This monopile is a foundation pile connected by our offshore wind turbine to the bottom of the sea, which is generally speaking, just like the bottom pile foundation when building a building. Our product design cycle is 27 years, which is a veritable "Dinghaishen needle" at sea.

The diameter of our lower mouth is 8.5 meters, which is more than the height of a three-story building, and the overall length is designed to be 84 meters. If we calculate according to our average of 2.8 meters on one floor, basically to the height of a 30-story building, the overall weight reaches 1,420 tons, and if we calculate according to the average of 2.5 tons of a car, it is equivalent to the weight of 600 cars.

Don't look at it as an 84-meter-long behemoth, but its requirements for structural dimensions are very strict, we hang a vertical line at 30 floors, and the distance between the upper perpendicular line and the lower perpendicular line is no more than 30 mm. Our pile is divided into 30 small single sections, 30 small segments. It's like this structural state that we put together one by one like bamboo joints.

Ji Aiquan, welder of the manufacturing department of Haili Wind Power Equipment Technology (Weihai) Co., Ltd.: I am an electric welder, and my daily work is to assemble and weld all these cylinders and sections together. Now we have 9 welds in one cylinder section, and we have a welder for each weld. The diameter of this weld is about 8 to 9 meters, the length is about 26 meters, and it takes us 38-40 hours to weld a weld. Because our weld is an inverted triangle, from the bottom to the top from small to large, from narrow to wide, we just burn this wire in, over and over again, about 40 times.

You see that we are in the welding process, we have to look at this infrared, we have to face this seam, and we can't let this seam burn off. Don't look at each of us sitting there welding, in fact, this tube has been rotating, has been rotating, to keep the speed of the welding machine and the package match the same, in our welding process, we have to adjust the angle of the welding machine, to ensure that the angle of the wire and seam is vertical, to achieve the best welding conditions. We can't create a porosity, a crack, so we can't be sloppy.

The biggest difference between the current welders and the previous welders is the tacit understanding between man and machine, just like driving, to achieve the state of integration of people and vehicles

These are two 1500-ton gantry cranes, and the 1500-ton gantry crane is the largest in Weihai area. Because of our future monopile, the maximum weight of a single pile can reach more than 2000 tons. Later, after we finished production, we lifted it to this dock through these two gantry cranes and shipped it out.

The 200-ton self-elevating roller frame is also developed and produced by ourselves, which can walk and rotate by itself, which can ensure that when welding this ring seam, people do not move, and the workpiece is moving.

This frame is our company's own self-developed welding platform. In 2015, the national patent was obtained, this person is on it, and all things are hung up with an electric hoist, and then the left and right, front and back, up and down of the welding screen can be moved, which maximizes efficiency.

For our traditional manufacturing industry, continuous innovation and continuous improvement of personnel quality are also another embodiment of new quality productivity. Next, we will produce nearly 100,000 tons of monopiles for, and another 20,000 tons of cages, and the output value is expected to exceed 1 billion yuan this year. In the future, in the vast sea area south of the Rushan Peninsula, at least more than 80% of the monopiles are produced by our Haili company.
