As patriotic sons and daughters of China, the pain of the Wenchuan earthquake has always been deeply imprinted on my heart and is indelible. On May 12, 2008, Wenchuan, Sichuan Province was hit by a catastrophic earthquake, bringing great sorrow to the people. Although time has passed, the pain is still fresh, and people are always thinking about those who have fallen in life and the difficult years they have passed.
Deep memoriesLooking back on that shocking morning, the earth shook violently and subsided, causing a global shock. The county seat of Wenchuan was destroyed in one fell swoop, and countless families suffered unprecedented disasters. For a time, the grief of the death of a loved one aroused the heaviness of the hearts of the whole people. In particular, it is worth mentioning that as a typical representative of the earthquake disaster, Yingxiu Town Xuankou Middle School has experienced unspeakable pain and burden. Time flies, and now 16 spring and autumn have passed, but those tragic scenes are still as clear as yesterday, profoundly reminding us of the meager preciousness of life.
In this sudden earthquake event, the people of the mainland made concerted efforts to resist the disaster, demonstrating the noble quality of solidarity and mutual assistance and the strong ability to respond to the crisis. The efficient command of the government and the generous donations from people from all walks of life have demonstrated the unity, cohesion, and sense of responsibility of the people on the mainland in the difficult situation. In the midst of the disaster, moving deeds emerged one after another, and people were able to deeply feel the tenacity and greatness of life, and also saw the brilliance of human nature. These touching stories and spirits will be remembered by history and become our eternal memories.
Affectionate remembrance
Every year on May 12, the Wenchuan earthquake commemoration event aims to deeply mourn the loss of life. Now, sixteen years later, this mourning is becoming more and more intense. People gathered at the original site of Xuankou Middle School in the disaster area, wreaths and reform and development were intertwined, and the endless remembrance of the deceased was expressed with solemn memorials. At the same time, we also mourn the memory of every compatriot who unfortunately passed away in this disaster.
Respect the victims of the earthquake, including innocent children, loving parents, and teachers. They once had beautiful visions and infinite yearnings, but they were cut off by the ruthless earthquake, leaving their relatives with endless sorrow and regret. All men are created equal, and everyone who has left deserves our solemn remembrance and eternal remembrance. On this special occasion, I pay tribute to these heroic souls and offer my deepest condolences for those lives lost.
After the baptism of wind and rain, 16 years have passed since the Wenchuan earthquake. However, we have never stopped commemorating and reflecting deeply on this disaster. Every day of remembrance is a sign of great respect for our departed compatriots, and it also inspires us to delve deeper into the true meaning of life. We deeply feel that life is fleeting, so we cherish the happiness and beauty in front of us, thus strengthening our determination to love life, protect our families and give back to society.
The earthquake not only brought unbearable losses to the mainland, but also inspired the endless spiritual courage and strength of the whole nation. As descendants of Yan and Huang, we express our deep condolences and respect for our deceased loved ones, and we are grateful for the helping hand extended by all parties across the country.
