I remember that when I was in high school, my teacher recommended us to read Mr. Zhu Guangqian's "Talking about the Beauty of Books", but I found a copy of Mr. Zhu Guangqian's "Twelve Letters to Youth" in his early years. Although this book was mainly written for middle school students at the time, and many social phenomena have become obsolete with the passage of time, when I take it off the bookshelf and read it again, even today's young people will still face similar confusion, and some of the social phenomena of the past have found new carriers in modern society.
When it comes to impetuousness and frustration in work and life, contemporary youth often avoid talking about it with boredom and pessimism. Unexpectedly, Mr. Zhu started from the perspective of combining movement and stillness to solve problems for young students in the last century. He wrote: Sorrow is born of depression, the way to relieve sorrow is to vent, depression is due to stillness, and the way to seek vent is moving. With approachable language and profound thoughts, the author answers all kinds of doubts in the process of growing up for young people: the focus of conversation is expression, so it is full of vitality, fun and comfort; Talking about stillness focuses on perception and keeping the spiritual platform empty. In the process of reading this book, I deeply felt the author's concern and expectations for young people.
