The construction team is working at multiple points to implement ditch excavation, pouring and other projects.
"Now, the workers are trying to demolish the old ditch and build the bottom cushion with concrete, and then the ditch pouring will begin. Overall, the project will be completed in four or five months. Li Zhi, the person in charge of the project site, said.
It is reported that Mengchong Village, Jinqiao Village, and Shuangbao Village in Jiuchang Street are one of the important grain and vegetable industry dam areas in Xiuwen County.
In order to effectively improve the local agricultural irrigation conditions, improve the efficiency of water resource utilization, and further ensure food security, the construction of the Yanyingshan Reservoir Comprehensive Irrigation Area Project in Xiuwen County was started in early March this year. The project involves three administrative villages of Mengchong, Jinqiao and Shuangbao in Jiuchang Street, with an irrigation area of 10,000 mu designed and renovated, and the main construction contents are: 28.42 kilometers of canals, 1.8 kilometers of drainage canals, and 22 open channel flow monitoring stations.
At the project site, the irrigation ditch line is long and wide, and it is difficult to remove the waste slag and transport construction materials, so the relevant departments and the local street office have strengthened coordination services, increased the operation team, and arranged 8 construction teams to be responsible for 10 working faces respectively, and go hand in hand to promote the construction of the project. At present, irrigation ditches in some farmland have been preliminarily completed and will soon be put into operation.
"We started construction on March 4 this year, and the completion time is expected to be by the end of October. After the ditch is completed, it can improve the irrigation of about 10,000 acres of farmland, solve the irrigation problem in the dry season, and escort food security.
