The Daily Telegraph reported on May 13 that Sydney Central Station was evacuated on Monday afternoon due to a bomb threat, and train operations have now returned to normal.
After receiving a bomb threat, Platform 25 was put on emergency lockdown, the report said. Video taken at the scene shows passengers being evacuated from inside the station. At the same time, police officers continued to enter the station.
The emergency evacuation began around 2:45 p.m., and the platform resumed normal service around 3 p.m.
