The "rebuilt" Snapdragon 8 Gen4 will be based on TSMC's 3nm "N3E" process, with a target frequency of up to 4.26GHz.

It is reported that one of the main reasons why Qualcomm redid the Snapdragon 8 Gen4 is because Apple has adopted the ARMv9 architecture and supports the "Scalable Matrix Expansion" technology, which has greatly improved the performance of the processor.

After the rework, the Snapdragon 8 Gen4's stronger performance can make up for the performance difference to a certain extent.
