As a result, Apple finalized an agreement with OpenAI to introduce ChatGPT technology to the iPhone.
According to the report, Apple currently has two main directions for AI, one is to promote generative AI as a key project, and the other is the most direct and closest to consumers, that is, Siri access to Chatgpt, and there will be the following changes after that:
Siri is enhanced with AI to perform a variety of tasks in smooth chat. Siri will have real chat capabilities, not a one-and-one question and answer now, and it can be used offline, and privacy will not be uploaded to the cloud. Although a large model connected to the cloud is better to use, this kind of small model that runs offline on the device side may be more suitable for mass users.
iOS 18 is probably the most likely to be the generation with the biggest changes. AI can not only access voice assistants, but also become part of the original system functions, such as the AI elimination of domestic mobile phones, magic portals, etc. are made in this logic.
This is the same for Apple, the function on iOS is not only Siri, other functions can also be added by AI to understand the user, such as copying a piece of text, the system will know which app to open, or a certain function because AI has become easier to use, such as Apple Music no longer needs to manually select and add songs to the playlist, but can let AI do it for you.

At present, there is no way to use Chatgpt normally in China, so the version of the Bank of China is most likely to access the domestic large model. The Samsung S24 series, which previously took AI as one of its core selling points, is connected to the AI technology of Baidu, JD.com, and the Meitu App in the Chinese version. There have already been media reports that Apple is in talks with Baidu about AI capabilities.
Apple's AI plans and Siri to access Chatgpt are expected to be announced at this year's WWDC as soon as possible.
