On May 13, the Sichuan-Chongqing Youth Beach Volleyball Classic was held in Sunshine Beach, Yunyang County, where a total of 54 teams from 21 units from Sichuan and Chongqing competed.
The beach volleyball (two-player) competition is divided into men's and women's youth group A, youth group B and university group, and is hosted by the Chongqing Municipal Sports Bureau and the Sichuan Provincial Sports Bureau. In the future, a series of beach sports season events will be held, such as the 2024 Chongqing Beach Volleyball Championship, the National Beach Volleyball Tour, the World Paralympic Volleyball Federation Beach Volleyball Championship, the 7th Chongqing Games Beach Volleyball Competition, and the China University Beach Volleyball Championship.
The contest runs from May 13 to 15.
