Recently, three cases of cash theft from villagers' homes occurred in two villages within the jurisdiction of the Yinan County Public Security Bureau in Linyi City, Shandong Province.
The Yinan Public Security Bureau quickly set up a special case team to investigate the case. During the investigation, the police found that a "helmet man" in the video with a blurry picture, a helmet on his head, and his face was tightly covered, was suspected of committing a major crime. Subsequently, the police integrated and connected more than 140 segments and 50 hours of surveillance again, and finally discovered the whereabouts of this vague figure and arrested him.

At 13 o'clock on April 23, the Hutou Police Station of the Yinan County Public Security Bureau received a report from Chen, a villager in the jurisdiction, that the cash he had put in the drawer at home had been stolen. After receiving the police, the county bureau's special squad for cracking down on the crime of embezzlement of property immediately dispatched capable police forces to carry out an investigation.
Chen's home is located in the west of a village in Hutou Town, with a dirt road in front of the door and woods on both sides. Chen locked the door and left the house that morning, and did not return home until noon, the lock on the door did not change, the wire wrapped around Chen when he went out on the West House door was pulled down, the hidden lock of the table drawer in the house was picked open, and the cash in the drawer was stolen.

Through on-site investigation, the police judged that the suspect should have committed the crime by climbing over the wall and entering the house. Due to the remoteness of the scene, the police continued to expand the scope, and finally a "helmet man" in the surveillance video in the village entered the police's sight. The man walked quickly and appeared to be athletic. He didn't ride an electric car or motorcycle, but he wore a helmet on his head and kept looking around. Due to the limited monitoring conditions in the village, the man disappeared after entering the woods in the west of the village.

On April 29, the Hutou Police Station received another report that cash had been stolen from the homes of two villagers in another village in the jurisdiction.
Familiar modus operandi, the police analysis should be the same person who committed the crime. By checking the surveillance, sure enough, the "helmet man" appeared again. Although it is a different color from the helmet he wore last time, the figure of the suspect and the way he walked have long been deeply imprinted in the minds of the police.

The police found that the suspect's modus operandi was sophisticated, his sense of concealment was very strong, and he cleverly used the factor of less road monitoring to avoid investigation. On May 5, the police integrated more than 140 segments and 50 hours of monitoring again into a series for careful inspection. In a video, the police found a black sedan parked a few dozen meters away from the "helmet man". After research and judgment, the police determined that the car was a vehicle driven by the suspect. After further work, it was confirmed that the suspect was Ma from Rizhao City. On the afternoon of the 6th, with the cooperation of the Rizhao police, Ma was arrested.
Strong sense of anti-investigation and climbed over the wall to enter the house to commit crimes
After interrogation, Ma confessed to the crime of stealing thousands of yuan in cash from three villagers in Hutou Town, Yinan County. After digging deeply, the police found that he also stole 210 yuan in cash from two villagers' homes in Puwang Town, Yinan County, in April.

After investigation, Ma had many previous convictions for theft and had a strong sense of anti-investigation. After driving from Ju County to Yinan County, he parked his car two or three kilometers away from the scene of the crime, then put on a helmet and gloves and walked into the village. When he saw a tenant with a locked door, he climbed over the wall to enter, and quickly left after the theft was successful.
At present, Ma has been criminally detained, and he is waiting for his punishment.
