In order to thoroughly implement the strategic requirements of the Hubei Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Government on promoting the practice of Chinese-style modernization in Hubei, and promote the simultaneous improvement of industrialization, informatization, urbanization and agricultural modernization based on the comprehensive management of the river basin, on May 11, the Youth League Committee of the Provincial Department of Natural Resources and the Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the Youth League Committee of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, and the Youth League Committee of the Yangtze River Industry Group jointly sponsored the "Youth Learning and Promoting the Synchronous Development of the Four Modernizations" undertaken by the Youth League General Branch of Hubei Changjiang New Materials Co., Ltd The theme group day was held at the Provincial Agricultural Exhibition Center. Shen Xuejun, member of the Party Group and Deputy Director of the Provincial Department of Natural Resources, Pi Shaocheng, member of the Party Group and Deputy Director of the Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, Zhang Yao, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Guo Bao, member of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of the Yangtze River Industry Group, and other leaders attended the event.
At the event, Wu Tangchun, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and dean of Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, gave a special lecture on "Guarding Human Health and Sharing a Better Life" with the theme of environmental health and green development. Academician Wu Tangchun believes that the future of China's countryside is very green, low-carbon and modern, and it also requires the younger generation to devote more strength and wisdom to jointly build our green home into a better place. He demanded that the vast number of young people should think more from the perspective of natural resource protection, modern agriculture and rural areas, and ecological industry development, actively participate in scientific and technological innovation, go deep into the grassroots to undergo tempering, and contribute youth strength to the practice of promoting Chinese-style modernization in Hubei.
Subsequently, the youth league members who participated in the activity successively visited the demonstration base for comprehensive river basin management and agricultural development, the agricultural culture theme park, the national key agricultural wild plant protection nursery, the modern agriculture exhibition hall, the Hubei high-quality rice industry chain and the Hubei rapeseed oil industry chain brand promotion base and other exhibition areas. The majority of youth league members expressed their amazement at the new varieties and technologies of modern agriculture on display in the exhibition area, and praised the achievements made in the development of Hubei's "three rural" areas.
This theme group day activity was held through the joint method of "government, school and enterprise", which further enriched the content and form of the theme group day activities, built a bridge of friendship between institutions, schools and enterprise league members, and gathered youth wisdom and stimulated youth vitality to promote the practice of Chinese-style modernization in Hubei.
More than 60 people attended the event, including the Secretary of the Youth League Committee of the Provincial Department of Natural Resources and the Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the Secretary of the Youth League Committee of Huazhong University of Science and Technology and the Yangtze River Industry Group, the heads of relevant departments and youth representatives.
