The 8th Plenary Session of the 6th Committee of the Communist Party of China Wuhan Huangpi District was held on May 12, 2024. Present at the plenary session were 41 members of the district party committee and 8 alternate members of the district committee. Responsible comrades of relevant departments and representatives of the Sixth Party Congress of some districts attended the meeting as observers.
The plenary session was presided over by the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee. The plenary meeting deliberated and adopted the "Implementation Opinions of the Huangpi District Committee of the Communist Party of China and the People's Government of Huangpi District on the In-depth Implementation of the "Nine Major Actions", Accelerating the Transformation of the "Three Advantages", and Making Huangpi Contributions to the Practice of Striving to Promote the Practice of Chinese-style Modernization in Hubei and Accelerating the Construction of an Important Strategic Fulcrum for the Rise of the Central Region. The third is to promote the integration of agriculture and tourism, accelerate the exploration of the practical path of transforming lucid waters and lush mountains into gold and silver mountains, create an important model of harmonious coexistence between man and nature and an important model for the modernization of agriculture and rural areas in the suburbs of megacities, and strive to be the vanguard in the transformation of Wuhan's ecological resource advantages into green development advantages. Promote the in-depth integration of agriculture and tourism, further transform agricultural resources into tourism resources, and accelerate the cultivation of new forms of characteristic eco-tourism. Accelerate the development of modern urban agriculture, focus on the development of intensive processing of agricultural products, and promote the Wuhan Modern Agricultural Products Processing Park to achieve quick results. We will build beautiful villages in the whole region, speed up the pilot construction of the first batch of "five good and two suitable" villages in the country and the only one in the province, and build a 72-kilometer beautiful rural belt of Wuhan University Expressway. Fourth, we should promote the dynamic balance between development and security, effectively prevent and resolve risks in various fields, and create important support for Wuhan's development and security. We will further implement comprehensive river basin management and further improve the capacity of flood prevention, water drainage, sewage treatment and water supply. Ensure the stable and safe supply of grain and important agricultural products, and firmly shoulder the political responsibility for food security. We will fight a good battle to defend the blue sky, clear water and pure land, vigorously solve the environmental problems around the masses, and effectively build a solid ecological security barrier. Improve the monitoring, early warning and emergency response mechanisms for urban security risks, improve the public health management service system, and effectively maintain urban security. The plenum demanded that the party members and cadres in the whole region should effectively enhance the political consciousness, ideological consciousness and action consciousness of solidly promoting the rise of the central region from a higher starting point, and meticulously promote the implementation of various goals and tasks in Huangpi.
