A few days ago, a red five-star competition was launched in the Zhonglou residential area of Zhujing Town, Jinshan District. Nearly 200 residents from the community participated together. This community competition, which has been held for 10 years, is the main activity of residents and one of the ways to promote community autonomy in the Bell Tower residential area.
At 9 o'clock in the morning, the Red Five-Star Contest was in full swing, although some citizens regretted going out early, but they were still very happy and received gifts from the community. In addition to new faces, there are also many old ones. For them, the competition not only entertained themselves, but also brought their neighbors closer.
This is the 10th Red Five-Star Contest in the Bell Tower Residential Area, from the initial participation of only 20 elderly people, to the current nearly 200 residents participate, all because the Bell Tower Residential Area has given the decision to the hands of the residents. It is through the participation and discussion of the residents that the Red Five Star Contest has gradually formed its current scale. These residents are not only residents of the community, but also participants in community self-governance, and they are both the served and the servants.
The reporter learned that the Zhonglou residential area covers commercial housing communities, self-built villa areas, urban villages, etc., with a permanent population of nearly 7,000 people. In order to meet the needs of residents of all ages, the Bell Tower Residential Area takes "the community of the masses to be the master, and the functions and activities of the masses to decide" as the starting point, actively collects public opinions, designs an "all-age friendly" space, and creates a "Bell Tower in Home" at the "doorstep" of residents, which includes a children's play parish, a cultural experience hall, a table tennis room, a film and television broadcast hall, a reading room, etc. At the same time, it also distributes activity courses in the way of "you order, I take orders", and the elderly can study during the day, summer care for primary and secondary school students, and weekend parent-child classes, which not only solve the rigid needs of residents, but also meet the needs of residents for higher-quality aesthetic education activities.
The Zhonglou residential area is just a microcosm of Zhujing Town's active promotion of community autonomy, and in recent years, Jinhui residential area has also been exploring new models of community autonomy. Due to the long construction of Jinyu Liangyuan, many facilities in the community have been aged and damaged, in this regard, the "troika" of the community and the representatives of residents have held many meetings to discuss, so that residents can participate in community governance.
Combined with the current focus of fire safety management of electric bicycles, Jinhui residential area also called on residents to participate in the "micro-governance" of the community, the management of electric bicycles from passive to active, first mobilize party members and resident volunteers to give full play to the advantages of neighbors, drive the autonomy of building groups, find potential safety hazards and report them in a timely manner, supervise each other, and remind each other. At the same time, the neighborhood committee, community police, property management company, and volunteer team have joined forces to strengthen the fire safety management of electric bicycles in the community, and carry out the "day inspection + night inspection" action in groups and time-sharing, so as to "find together and rectify together" fire violations such as installing sockets and flying wire charging without permission.
There are nearly 3,000 households in the three communities under the jurisdiction of Jinhui Residential Area, namely Huijia Xinyuan, Jinyuliangyuan and Wanxiang Jindi, but there are only 11 staff members in the community. In this regard, Jinhui Residential Area continues to explore new models of community governance, while visiting and collecting residents' demands, it also actively guides residents to join community governance, so as to achieve a virtuous circle of "residents are not only participants, residents are also supporters, and residents are also beneficiaries", so as to respond to "people's voices" with "people's livelihood", make the community more cohesive and centripetal, draw a "concentric circle" of community governance, and continuously improve the sense of gain, security and happiness of residents in the jurisdiction.
In recent years, Zhujing Town has actively promoted the improvement of the grassroots governance system, continuously improved and innovated the community governance model, organized the masses, mobilized the masses, relied on the masses, and served the masses, organically combined the enthusiasm of residents for self-governance with the construction of homes, and conscientiously handled practical matters for people's livelihood.
