Since the beginning of this year, Wushan County has closely followed the development goal of "agriculture first", based on the effective connection between consolidating and expanding the achievements of poverty alleviation and rural revitalization, digging deep into potential advantages, adhering to the cultivation of diversified industries, and doing a good job in the "2+5+N" modern agricultural industrial system, and the county's agricultural industry has shown a good trend of scale, regionalization and characteristics.
First, the quantity and quality of the vegetable industry have been improved. Focusing on the goal of building a "5 billion-level" whole industrial chain of vegetables, the "High-quality Development Plan for the Vegetable Industry in Wushan County (2024-2026)" has been formulated, and 52.6125 million yuan of bridging funds have been arranged, and 4575 acres of new vegetable steel frame greenhouses have been built, 25% of the construction tasks have been completed, and the construction of 9500 acres of standardized scale production demonstration base of beans is being accelerated, with a newly sown vegetable area of 103,000 mu and a vegetable field area of 134,900 mu.
The second is to improve the quality and efficiency of the animal husbandry industry. Do everything possible to fight for funds, expand the scale, and strive for all kinds of funds of more than 1,700 yuan, during the year new (reconstruction and expansion) farms, breeding and processing bases 33, has started construction of 10, the year to create more than 2 standardized farms above the municipal level. The third is the iterative upgrading of old orchards. Do a good job in building gardens in spring, arrange 6.164 million yuan of bridging funds, and plan to transform and upgrade 2,000 acres of old orchards in 9 townships and towns such as Chengguan, Luomen, and Shandan. At present, 27 special technical trainings have been carried out, and more than 900 fruit farmers have been trained. At the same time, the implementation body of the old orchard renovation project actively carried out the project construction work, completed the excavation and leveling of more than 1,500 acres of old orchards, and sorted out more than 600 acres of tall trees.
Fourth, the cultivation of Chinese medicinal materials continues to grow. Continuously increase the scale of planting of Chinese herbal medicines, arrange bridging funds of 4.704 million yuan, and plan to establish 12 standardized large-scale production demonstration bases of Chinese herbal medicines of 11,670 mu in the county. At the same time, the County Agriculture and Rural Bureau organized technical personnel to carry out 6 phases of planting skills training in the planting base, training more than 300 people, and further improving the standardized planting level of Chinese herbal medicines.
