Wang Shuqun, a special technician of China's aerospace industry, leads the only team in China to assemble and debug a manned space docking mechanism. More than 30 years ago, Wang Shuqun graduated from a technical school and entered the Aerospace Science and Technology Group to work as a skilled worker. When he first entered the factory, Wang Shuqun followed his master and learned various skills such as chiseling, filing, sawing, scribing, and drilling on the fitter table every day. Because he is diligent and studious and likes to study, Wang Shuqun quickly mastered excellent skills and became the backbone of the company's tooling and mold manufacturing.

In 1995, the Eighth Academy of Shanghai Aerospace Science and Technology Group began to set up a docking mechanism research and development team, which was mainly responsible for the development and assembly of docking mechanism parts. However, the prototype went to the test bench, and the test results disappointed the R&D team. What's the problem? Chen Liang, one of the first developers of the first batch of easy-pull ring molds in China, a national model worker and technical expert, is called "micron master" by people in the industry. In 1998, Chen Liang was admitted to a technical school in Wuxi to learn mold design and manufacturing, and after graduation, he entered a private enterprise in Wuxi to work in a mold manufacturing company.

Once, the company received an order for high-precision positioning parts for a TV, requiring the accuracy to be controlled within 2 microns. At that time, traditional tools were mostly used for machining in China, and the accuracy could only reach 4 microns. After many unsuccessful attempts, the masters thought of Chen Liang, who loves to use his brain and can study. Chen Liang broke the conventional thinking and innovatively combined the two originally completely different processes of "milling" and "grinding", and used precision grinding wheels for grinding in machine tool processing.

After continuous attempts, a week later, Chen Liang successfully controlled the accuracy of the product at 1 micron, which was the first time that the accuracy of such products in China reached 1 micron, and it also broke the monopoly of foreign technology. Chen Liang "became famous in a fight", and "Micron Master" was also called.

Now, they are developing a special robot for welding boiler walls.

Chen Zhaochun said that in the digital era, higher requirements have been put forward for high-skilled talents, and what is needed is "digital craftsmen", that is, compound skilled talents who not only have the level of modern industrial technology skills, but also master intelligent and networked skills, and are good at integrating digital skills to transform and upgrade traditional industries.
