However, if strictly speaking, this Type 1A pistol in India is actually imitated by the MK1 gun of the Canadian Inglis Company, and the original factory drawings were imported according to the licensed production model. Compared with the original gun, the Indian Type 1A pistol removed the horizontal adjustable illumination door of the original gun and replaced it with a lower cost fixed illumination door, the gun body was treated with a frosted black finish, and in order to further reduce costs, the grip gasket of the gun was replaced by wood to plastic. Due to technical conditions and resource constraints, this pistol in India is far from the original, and the actual combat feedback is poor, especially the elite troops performing special tasks.
