The Browning M1910 pistol is a blowback semi-automatic pistol designed in 1910 by Belgian gun master Johan Browning and survived by the Belgian FN company. On 28 June 1914, Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria was assassinated in Sarajevo, and the Assassins used the Browning M1910 pistol to ignite the fuse of the First World War. From 1920 to 1935, the gun was imitated by Spain, but the number of imitations was not as large as that of M1903, and Germany also carried out imitations, called Rheinmetall and DW pistols, which are easily recognizable from the inscription on the body of the gun.

The Browning M1910 pistol was one of john Moses Browning's (1855–1926) masterpieces. In 1908, Browning introduced a new 9×17mm pistol cartridge based on the 7.65 × 17mm pistol cartridge, called the 9mm Browning pistol short bullet (0.380 inch ACP bullet). Compared with the 9×19mm Balabaerum bullet, the bullet has a light mass, small recoil, moderate power and high lethality, which is very suitable as a dual-purpose gun cartridge for military and police, thus winning a wider market. Browning has always believed that there is a lack of a semi-automatic pistol on the market that is somewhere between military and civilian pistols, with a moderate size and quality, as a self-defense gun for police and officers. In this context, the M1910 pistol was born naturally.

The gun is a well-known product of Browning's early days, using a simple cartridge seat recoil design, the recoil force is very small, the hammer does not protrude, easy to hide in the pocket. The novel design of the re-entry spring layout laid a "slim" skeleton for this small self-defense pistol, and the cross-section of the sleeve mouth was also changed from the traditional "8" shape to the "O" shape, and the muzzle sleeve at the sleeve mouth was correspondingly changed to a perfect circular ring sleeve, and a circle of knurls was also processed on the leading edge of the muzzle sleeve. In this way, not only in the decomposition and combination, the hand will not slip when rotating the muzzle sleeve, but also add to the aesthetics of the gun. It is precisely because of this circle of beautiful "knurls" on the muzzle sleeve that this new small pistol has a very distinct and typical feature in appearance. Of course, under the joint efforts of China's rich gun culture and rich language, the Browning FN M1910 7.65mm automatic pistol has been "conventionally" called "flower mouth picker". In addition to the 7.65mm caliber, there are also "flower mouth pickers" that use 9mm Browning automatic pistol cartridges

Its re-entry spring wraps around the barrel rather than underneath the barrel, giving the sleeve a unique tubular shape. In 1922, the gun adopted a longer barrel while lengthening the sleeve, leaving the rest of the parts unchanged. The safety is located on the left side of the rear of the socket seat: up for the safety and down for the shooting. The grip safety is located at the rear of the grip and must be pressed hard to shoot. Equipped with a magazine safety device, you can not shoot after removing the magazine. The magazine is fastened at the bottom of the grip.

The more famous variant of the Browning M1910 pistol is the Model 1922 or 1910/22. Most of the guns are made in Germany and use a checkered wooden handle.

In 1955, the Browning Arms Company introduced the Model 1955, which was a model 1910 pistol for the American market. Aside from the markings and grips of the body, the M1955 is almost identical to the same pistol style as the one released in Europe. Another version was the 1971 model, which used a longer barrel.
