Amid the hustle and bustle of the city, I found a haven of tranquility – my third-floor house. The choice of the third floor was purely accidental, because when I came to see the house, it was the only one left. However, it was this unintentional choice that brought me unexpected surprises.
The moment I closed the room, I was fascinated by the view in front of the window. The height of the third floor is just right, 7.8 meters higher than the lakeside plot in front, as if you are in the lap of nature. Standing in front of the window, I could look out over the greenery of the treetops and the sparkling surface of the lake. The south-facing windows take in the beautiful scenery of the community's gardens, and the green is refreshing and unobstructed.
As the seasons change, so does my window. In spring, everything revives, and tender green shoots dot the branches; In summer, the emerald green leaves shine in the sun; In autumn, golden and fiery red are intertwined into a warm picture; In winter, there is a quiet beauty. On a sunny day, the sun is shining, and on a rainy day, there is a hazy poetry. Every time I look out the window, it's like admiring a painting of nature that is constantly changing, and I always feel fresh in my familiar home.
Previously, I was used to living on the 20th floor, but now, living on the third floor has given me a different experience. While it's true that there are more mosquitoes than on the upper floors, that doesn't stop me from loving the place. When night falls, I like to sit by the window and enjoy the peace and harmony from the inside out.
