On the morning of May 11, there was a short period of heavy precipitation and windy weather in Yandu District, and the street trees on both sides of the road such as G204 and S231 lines were blown down one after another, and the Yandu District Highway Development Center quickly launched the emergency plan, and organized the Gangzhong Industrial District and Xuefu Industrial District to eliminate the danger in a timely manner, as of 4 o'clock in the afternoon, the center dispatched more than 20 emergency rescue personnel, 8 rescue vehicles and equipment, inspected 176 kilometers of highways, and cleared 32 road trees that fell on the road.
In the next step, the center will continue to organize personnel to increase road inspections, timely investigate potential safety hazards, and ensure the safety and smooth flow of roads in the jurisdiction. (Contributed by Xu Yang)
