What does a cryptoptera look like?
Remember what it looks like ↓↓↓
Cryptoptera is a type of beetle that belongs to the class Insecta, Coleoptera, Cryptopteridae, and Cryptoptera venomous. Also known as "green-waisted insect", it looks a bit like an ant, the body length is generally not more than 1 cm, the elytra are very short, the abdomen is naked, and at first glance it looks like it has no wings, so it is called "cryptoptera".
The pH value of Cryptoptera venom is 1~2. The 2007 Journal of the Fourth Military Medical University published Dr. Chen Shixin's paper "Clinical Analysis of 590 Cases of Cryptoptera Dermatitis", which mentioned:
Cryptoptera dermatitis is an acute edematous skin disease caused by Cryptoptera, which has a high incidence in hot summer areas in the south, accounting for 9.3% of dermatological diseases. Cryptoptera contains an acidic liquid with a pH value of 1~2, and survives in weeds and humid places, and the hotter the weather, the more frequent the activity.
The pH value is 1~2
What is the concept?
▼
This is already in the range of strong acids, which is about the same as the pH of ordinary concentrations of hydrochloric acid. The pH value of the toilet cleaner that is often encountered in daily life is about 2.
Therefore, if it is stained with the venom of Cryptoptera, it is easy to "burn" people, and it will cause people to appear cord-like, punctate edematous erythema, or papules, blisters, pustules, and even burning, itching and other symptoms:
- If it gets into the eyes, it will burn the conjunctiva and cornea, and if not treated in time, it will even cause blindness in serious cases.
- When it touches the vulva, it will be significantly swollen, and there will be symptoms such as fever, dizziness, and regional lymphadenopathy that are severe or large.
- And even if the skin heals, the scar will stay with you for a long time......

Encounter cryptoptera
Don't slap with your hands!
Cryptoptera is abundant in tropical and subtropical regions of the world, and is more common in the southern part of the continent. When a cryptoptera crawls over a person, it leaves a small amount of venom on the person, causing punctate, flaky, or cord-like erythema on the skin, but it is not too severe. It is only when people shoot it to death and twist it, and a lot of venom gets on the skin, which can cause acute skin inflammation.
In fact, the cryptoptera does not bite people, just because it climbs on the skin of people, and is often unconsciously beaten or crushed to death by everyone, at this time, it will cause a large amount of venom to splash out, the acidic value is very large, and it is very corrosive to human skin.
So, if you encounter this kind of bug, don't kill it, just blow it away with your mouth.

How can I prevent Cryptoptera?
The most effective way to prevent cryptoptera is:
Close the screen doors and windows of the room
Prevent it from entering the room
▼
- Cryptoptera has phototaxis, so the doors and windows of the home should be screened, and the lights should not be turned off at night to look at the mobile phone.
- Cryptoptera prefers a dark and damp environment, so keep your home dry and clean, and try not to go to woods, lakes and other places when you go to the park.
- If you find a cryptoptera on your clothing or body, do not pat it with your hands, gently blow it away with your mouth or use other objects to remove it, and then wash your clothes and skin with soapy water.
- When going to the park or hiking a mountain, try to choose long-sleeved clothing to reduce skin exposure and reduce the probability of being bitten.

What should I do if the "road is narrow"?
At home: You can stick it with tape or catch it with a paper towel and throw it away, but don't touch the venom.
On the body: remember the 4 words - "blow the bomb can break", and blow like a lung capacity test will definitely send it away. If it doesn't work, use the "finger magic skill", and hit it while it is unprepared, and remember not to bounce it on other people.
Already touching venom: Do not touch other parts of your body where you have touched the venom. After washing your skin with water or alkaline soapy water, seek medical attention and explain the situation to your doctor.
Suspicious symptoms: See a doctor! Don't apply the ointment yourself or scratch it with your hands to prevent secondary infection.
Beware of these bugs, too
