At the symposium, the Import Expo Bureau and the Icelandic Export and Investment Promotion Agency signed a memorandum of cooperation for the 7th CIIE. The staff of the Import Expo Bureau and the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) introduced the results of the CIIE and the characteristics of each section in detail to the guests, and answered the questions of the representatives of Icelandic enterprises about the exhibition. On the day of the event, Iceland's leading media outlet, the Icelandic Morning Post, reported on the participation of Icelandic companies in the Expo.
During their stay in Iceland, the CIIE promotion team also visited the Department of Foreign Trade of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iceland, and also visited Icelandic companies such as 66º North to promote more Icelandic enterprises to participate in the Expo.
