In order to do a good job in pre-flood safety production and conscientiously learn the lessons of the collapse disaster accident of Guangdong Meida Expressway, recently, the Highway Development Center of Queshan County held a special meeting on safety production to make comprehensive arrangements for the investigation and rectification of hidden dangers in key sections of ordinary highways in the county.
The meeting required that, in combination with the characteristics of the flood season, all national and provincial trunk roads and rural roads in the jurisdiction should be investigated, and the potential safety hazards identified should be rectified immediately. Formulate feasible emergency plans for flood prevention and control, strengthen safety pre-control, and ensure safe flooding.
After the meeting, the leadership team of the center took the lead in carrying out hidden danger investigation on 227 provincial highways in the jurisdiction, and each road class organized personnel to investigate the hidden dangers of the road sections under their management, and in accordance with the requirements of flood prevention and safety, the roadbed, retaining wall, bridge and culvert, high slope and other sections of the waterfront cliff and prone to water damage disasters were investigated, and effective measures such as maintenance, reinforcement and minor repair and maintenance were taken to rectify the hidden dangers.
After several days of hidden danger investigation in full swing, up to now, 135 kilometers of national and provincial trunk roads, more than 20 high slopes, more than 40 bridges, and 5 potential safety hazards have been investigated, all of which have been rectified in time. In the next step, the Queshan County Highway Development Center will continue to strengthen the investigation and rectification of potential road safety hazards in the county, and protect the safety of people's lives and property with practical actions.
