Butterfly Lianhua quickly set up a discussion group and asked Guangxi volunteer Mai Mai to contact local volunteers in Bucheon to inquire if there were any families who had lost their children. In the process, Yanzi also posted Yuan Rong's family search information on his Toutiao, Douyin and Kuaishou accounts, and locked the scope in Bucheon.
On the evening of December 14, Yanzi received clues from netizens that a family in Xiushui Village had given away a child, and it was inferred from the birth and adoption time that the child was very likely to be Yuan Rong. On the morning of December 16, Yanzi received a headline private message from Officer Deng from Fuchuan, Guangxi, who immediately launched an inspection after learning more about Yuan Rong's search for his home. In the afternoon of the same day, Officer Deng's verification had the results and found a suspected family in Xiushui Village, who had indeed sent their children to Heyuan, Guangdong, and is currently communicating with the family and waiting for further information.
