In order to further enhance the awareness of disaster prevention and mitigation among community properties, businesses and residents, and improve the ability and level of emergency first aid, on May 10, Qiutang Community of Shifo Office of High-tech Zone took the opportunity of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Day to jointly carry out a large-scale emergency drill on the 2024 National Disaster Prevention and Reduction Day with the theme of "Everyone Stresses Safety and Everyone Meets Emergency".
The classroom activities are divided into two parts, the first part is a disaster prevention and rescue drill, the training instructor first explained the importance of disaster prevention and mitigation and precautions, and then began to carry out the rescue drill competition. At the beginning of the game, the community staff distributed rescue suits, rescue helmets, rescue gloves and other equipment to everyone, and formed two teams in groups of 5 people to start the game. The trainees dressed in rescue equipment in a nervous and orderly manner, lined up in line, and were ready to go. When the captain issued the slogan "Assemble complete", the practical drill competition ended, and the teacher distributed a free exquisite prize to the winning group students.
In the second part, the community staff distributed gauze, disinfectant gloves and other first-aid materials to the participating trainees, and the training instructors demonstrated how to use gauze to treat wounds and how to correctly take gloves for first aid through on-site teaching. The instructor patiently explained, the students listened carefully, and everyone showed high enthusiasm and serious attitude throughout the process.
Through on-site classroom drills, emergency response skills and disaster prevention and mitigation knowledge are trained, and efforts are made to improve the ability of grassroots disaster prevention and risk avoidance. In the next step, the Qiutang Community of the High-tech Zone will continue to carry out the popularization of disaster prevention and mitigation emergency science knowledge, popularize the knowledge of disaster prevention and mitigation and risk avoidance and mutual rescue, improve the emergency response ability of residents, truly put "safety" into everyone's heart, jointly protect the safety and stability of the community, and continue to polish the "safe rule of law star".
