In the classroom, Tang Shiyong, Minister of the District People's Armed Forces Department, with the theme of "Feeling the Spirit of the Long March and Gathering Majestic Strength", combined with the history of the Long March, told the story of the party and the Red Army in the four crossings of Chishui on the edge of life and death, and "walking" the road of birth with an arduous strategic transfer. In the classroom, the People's Armed Forces Department of Baiyun District also invited Zhong Xiang, the most beautiful retired soldier in Baiyun District, to tell the party members and cadres about the historical background, combat process and victory significance of the self-defense counterattack against Vietnam, and shared the story of participating in the war against Vietnam on the Laoshan front, holding the position for a total of 327 days, participating in 27 large and small battles, resisting more than 20 sneak attacks by the Vietnamese army, burying 25 mines in the operation, and killing and wounding 1 enemy in the battle. Through his personal combat experience, Zhong Xiang imparted national defense knowledge to party members and cadres and conveyed patriotic feelings.

At the same time, the modern military display in the military history museum also made the party members and cadres deeply aware of the importance and urgency of national defense construction.
