On May 6, 1989, Tu Shanxiang arrived in Japan on May 8 by the large passenger ship "Jianzhen" from Shanghai Port, and began his study abroad career, and was successively admitted to Nagoya University of the Arts and Tokyo University of the Arts Graduate School (Graduate School) to study composition, majoring in musicology, and obtained a master's degree in 1994. In the past 35 years since he came to Japan, he has always insisted on promoting the excellent traditional Chinese music culture, created a miracle of more than 3,300 performances in Japan, China and 32 countries around the world, and made outstanding contributions to the promotion of Chinese pipa art in the world.
