In the past few days, the Work-related Injury Insurance Section of the Qilin District Human Resources and Social Security Bureau has carried out on-the-spot legal popularization and publicity in various towns (streets) and enterprises, conscientiously implemented the "Law of the People's Republic of China on the Prevention and Treatment of Occupational Diseases", "Regulations on Work-related Injury Insurance" and other laws and regulations, further promoted the implementation of the main responsibility of employers for work-related injury insurance and occupational disease prevention and control, promoted the formation of a good atmosphere of concern for the occupational health of workers in the whole society, and effectively enhanced the legal awareness of employers and workers.
The staff of the Industrial Injury Insurance Department of the District Human Resources and Social Security Bureau visited coal mines, stone quarries, Shuangyou Iron and Steel Factory, Shennong Food Factory, Rebaking Factory and other places to inspect the working and living environment of workers on the spot, and carried out discussions and exchanges with the employing units, listened to the relevant opinions and suggestions of the enterprise on the human resources and social security department, understood the current needs and difficulties faced by the enterprise, and answered questions for the enterprise on the spot.
"How to strengthen the prevention and treatment of occupational diseases, what are the benefits of participating in work-related injury insurance, and what work-related injury insurance benefits can be enjoyed by injured employees", during the visit, the staff publicized and interpreted the "Regulations on Work-related Injury Insurance" and the application process of electronic social security cards to the person in charge of the employing unit and the employees through various ways such as posting brochures, distributing promotional materials, and answering questions on the spot, explaining how to prevent occupational diseases and how to correctly safeguard their legitimate rights and interests after work-related injuries occur, and helping everyone fully realize the importance of doing a good job in work-related injury prevention. Raise the awareness of prevention among the whole people. More than 1,400 copies of publicity materials were distributed and more than 5,000 people benefited from the company's visit to the company. Through in-depth publicity, the general public can deepen their understanding of occupational disease prevention and control knowledge and work-related injury insurance policies, and effectively enhance workers' awareness of occupational health and rights protection.
