The drill simulated a sudden heavy rainstorm in Zhongshan District, the water level of the inlet of the Dewu Sewage Treatment Plant rose, the rainwater overflowed the sidewalk, and poured into the plant from the gate of the Dewu Plant, and the denitrification filter valve room was about to be flooded, and the water level on the road at the entrance of the plant area had overflowed the sidewalk and there were signs of continuous rise. After the drill officially began, all departments and units of the drill quickly coordinated and performed their duties.
During the exercise, after receiving the water accumulation report from the inspectors, the emergency response leading group immediately dispatched emergency rescue personnel to quickly arrive at the water accumulation location. Arrange special personnel to immediately organize the evacuation of the employees and people of Dewu Factory and Zhongshan Water Supply to a safe place, provide simple care to the injured people, and immediately send them to the hospital. At the same time, the organization personnel blocked the gate with sandbags, and quickly used emergency pumps to pump the water at the gate of the plant and between the valves of the denitrification filter. With the roar of generators and pumps, the water is quickly sucked in by the pumping pipe and quickly discharged from the drain pipe.
During the whole process of the exercise, the emergency rescue personnel coordinated in an orderly manner, cooperated tacitly, and implemented the emergency rescue work quickly and efficiently in strict accordance with the standardized process.
