On the 7th, Harbin Fengchen Agricultural Planting Professional Cooperative, located in Hongqi Village, Chenggaozi Town, Xiangfang District, Harbin City, planted 30 acres of morel mushrooms in spring, fresh and fat, and the growth is gratifying, and began to enter the picking stage, with an output of up to 18,000 kilograms.
In the morel mushroom greenhouse, several farmers are carefully working on the harvested morel mushrooms in the bucket. It is understood that morel mushroom, also known as morel vegetable, is recognized as a rare edible and medicinal fungus in the world, rich in protein, cellulose and mineral elements, has high edible value and medical value, because the fungus cover part is concave and convex into a honeycomb, the shape resembles the lamb's belly that is turned over and is named, known as the "queen of fungi".

According to the person in charge of the cooperative, the cooperative is the largest morel mushroom planting base in Harbin, with a planting area of 30 mu in the spring of 2024, and the production is divided into the spring production period from February to June and the autumn production period from September to January every year. This year, the base began planting on February 20, and after 45 days of planting, it began to promote mushrooms, and is now in the mature picking stage, which lasts about 30 days and is expected to end on June 10. Morel mushrooms have a large market demand in the south of the mainland, and at present, there are merchants from Sichuan who come to buy and wait for delivery at the base. At present, the wholesale price of this batch of morel mushrooms is about 160 yuan per kilogram, and the price per kilogram can reach 240 yuan when sold to southern cities.
