There is such a place in Turpan, Xinjiang, where ancient villages, winding paths, verdant mulberry trees and clear streams complement each other, forming a beautiful paradise picture, which is Tuyugou Mazha Village.
Located in Tuyugou in Shanshan County, Xinjiang, about 55 kilometers away from Turpan City, Tuyugou Mazha Village was rated as "China's Famous Historical and Cultural Village" in 2005, this village has been more than 2,600 years ago, and is a land carved by nature and history.
Ride
1. Take the train from Turpan to Shanshan County, there are 27 trains a day, the hard seat of the ordinary train is 15.5 yuan, and the bullet train is 28 yuan, which takes 1 hour. Then start from Shanshan County, you can take a shuttle bus, 12:00, 13:00, 14:00 from Shanshan County Bus Station, along the winding mountain road, all the way to the picturesque scenery, soon to arrive at this hidden paradise.
Note: The shuttle bus only goes to Tuyugou Township, Mazha Village is still a few kilometers away, and it takes 1 hour to hike, and the weather in Turpan is too hot to hike.
2. Turpan can also be reached directly, but it is not very convenient to take the shuttle bus by chartered bus or self-driving.
We chose to charter a car to go, so it was convenient to see other places together.

Attractions
As soon as you enter Tuyugou, you will be attracted by its original appearance. The ancient Uyghur dwellings are built on the Flaming Mountain, facing the water, and the houses made of yellow mud are still standing after the wind and frost, which is a typical representative of the village pattern and form under the background of Islamic culture in eastern Xinjiang.
Walking on the stone road, listening to the gurgling water, it is as if you have traveled back to the ancient city of Loulan. There are also intertwined mulberry trees, with fruitful branches, accompanied by mottled light and shadow on the earthen walls and various dried fruits of the humble shops built along the street, which is full of strong ethnic atmosphere.
If it is the middle of summer, the melons and fruits are fragrant, walking in the village, the local villagers are more enthusiastic, eating cantaloupe, raisins, etc. The price is not high, when you come to Xinjiang, you really can't miss the melons and fruits here, it is really quite sweet. However, although we didn't have cantaloupe, watermelon, or grapes when we went, there were delicious mulberries, which were also quite sweet.
There is also an old mosque in the village, and on the slope at the entrance of the mosque, take advantage of the sunset to take a picture, which is really beautiful.
There is also an ancient tomb at the exit of the scenic spot, and the tomb with an all-mud dome is also very suitable for taking pictures.
