In order to commemorate the 105th anniversary of the May Fourth Movement, enhance the sense of unity and cooperation of young cadres, and exercise their language expression skills, analytical thinking skills, and on-the-spot adaptability, recently, the Hudong Street Joint Youth League District Committee of Eggplant River District jointly held the "Promoting Practical Work and Youth Should Be Promising" Youth Debate Competition, with a total of 53 community and street staff participating.
Eight staff members from the agency and various communities formed two teams, the "agency representative team" and the "community representative team", and conducted a fierce debate around "doing a line of love" and "loving a line and doing a line", opening an all-round contest of thinking, logic, language and mentality. The debate competition is divided into four parts: opening arguments, attacking and arguing by both sides, free debate, and summary statements. Within the specified time, the contestants used concise language to express their views and debate, perfectly combined the arguments with the actual work, the arguments were sufficient, the arguments were clear, the vitality of the young cadres was debated in the collision of thinking, the young cadres had the knowledge and self-confidence of poetry and self-confidence, and the young cadres were high-spirited and hard-working. After fierce competition, the "organ team" won the best debate team award, the "community team" won the excellent organization award, and the four debates of the positive side and the third debate of the opposition side won the best debater award.
This debate competition is not only a confrontation of language and logic, but also a collision of ideas and wisdom, which has built a platform for young cadres in the neighborhood community to show themselves and express themselves. Hudong Street will continue to broaden channels, actively explore new paths for cadre training, build a platform for young cadres to learn and a stage to show their talents, and create a team of young cadres who can "write with a pen, speak with their mouths, plan when encountering problems, and succeed in doing things", so as to gather youth strength to promote the high-quality development of street work.
