The Student Affairs Department of the Party Committee of Hebei University said in the notice that the theme of the moral education defense of the 2024 undergraduate graduates is "Cultivating the Feelings of the Family and the Country and Writing the Chapter of Youth", which will be from now until June 20.

Hebei University requires all faculties and departments to attach great importance to it, do a good job in publicity and mobilization, clarify the purpose and importance of moral education defense, and require each graduate to write moral education papers based on their own growth experience. Students with a score of less than 60 points (failing) in the moral education defense will not be able to graduate and will be treated as completion.

In addition, starting from the 2003 graduates, Beijing Institute of Technology requires graduates to complete both dissertation defense and moral education defense. In April 2006, the "Implementation Measures for the Moral Education Defense of Undergraduate Students of Beijing Institute of Technology" stipulates that one of the expected goals of the moral education defense is to further enhance the initiative of the students in ideological and political work on the eve of the graduates' departure, to close the relationship between teachers and students and classmates, to channel all kinds of bad emotions among the students before leaving the school, and to enhance the graduates' love for the school.
