Before the holiday, the whole region held a safety production and fire safety arrangement deployment meeting, and the District Safety Committee issued the "Notice on Effectively Doing a Good Job in Safety Production Before and During the May Day" Festival, combined with the characteristics of the large flow of people during the "May Day" festival, and made careful arrangements for safety precautions during the festival. After the collapse disaster accident occurred in the Dapu section of the Meida Expressway in Guangdong, the District Safety Committee immediately re-emphasized and redeployed the key work, accurately studied and judged, investigated and grasped the most prominent problems and the weakest links, and continued to organize and carry out all kinds of hidden danger investigations, so as to effectively "treat other people's accidents as their own hidden dangers", effectively curb the occurrence of accidents, and create a good environment for the masses to spend the festival with peace of mind.

The main responsible comrades of the district party committee and district government personally led the team to supervise and inspect the safety production and fire safety of key places such as Vienna Hotel, Beishan Tulouguan and Chengbei Wanda, and effectively guided enterprises and units in various industries to implement safety responsibilities. During the "May Day" period, a total of 215 safety production inspection teams were dispatched, 775 inspectors, 222 supervision and inspections, 524 enterprise units were inspected, 66 hidden dangers were found, 32 were immediately rectified, 34 were ordered to be rectified within a time limit, 7 reports were received, 7 rectification notices were issued, and 2 warnings were interviewed.
