On the morning of May 6, the domestic waste classification education activity sponsored by the Xi'an Urban Management and Comprehensive Law Enforcement Bureau was held as scheduled in the domestic waste classification education base in Lianhu District. Party members and cadres from Xi'an Qujiang No. 3 Primary School, Jinhui Primary School, R&F City Yellow River Primary School of the Aerospace Base, enterprises and institutions, as well as the Urban Management and Law Enforcement Bureau of the Aerospace Base gathered together to explore the mystery of garbage classification and feel the power of green environmental protection technology.
On the day of the event, more than 100 lovely primary school students dressed in school uniforms and with happy smiles on their faces, under the guidance of the instructor, experienced the various propaganda and education facilities of the garbage classification education base in turn. In the venue, there are text and picture displays, physical embodiment of turning waste into treasure, inductive non-contact answering games, and a garbage classification documentary miniature theater...... Through these technological projection equipment, VR virtual reality and "sound, light, electricity" multimedia interactive advanced technology, visitors are brought an immersive experience.
Excited and curious, the children couldn't wait to explore the various garbage sorting display areas, scramble to participate in various games and interactive experiences, and through interactive games and simulation experiences, they gained an in-depth understanding of the importance and methods of garbage sorting. They happily shared their experience of garbage sorting with their friends, showing a positive attitude towards environmental awareness. The whole visit was full of laughter, and the children learned through the game, grew up in learning, and felt the educational significance of entertaining and educating.
It is understood that the Lianhu District Domestic Waste Classification Education Base is located in Xi'an Children's Park, with an area of 2,000 square meters. The museum adheres to the concept of "visit + experience + sharing", and explains the urgency and necessity of implementing garbage classification from the aspects of vision, hearing, and touch. In May 2023, the museum was included in the "List of National Domestic Waste Classification Publicity and Guidance Bases", and was awarded the Xi'an Science Education Base, which is one of the main places for the publicity and education of domestic waste classification in Xi'an.
Zhao Xiaogang, director of the domestic waste classification service center of Lianhu District, Xi'an City, said that since the beginning of this year, the Lianhu District Waste Classification Education Base has organized more than 70 classified publicity activities in various forms, aiming to guide the city's citizens to establish environmental awareness and promote the in-depth development of garbage classification. In the next step, we will continue to play the role of the "main front" of domestic waste classification publicity and guidance in the propaganda and education base, continue to organize and carry out various forms of publicity and training activities, welcome the general public and friends to visit, and contribute to the construction and sharing of a beautiful Xi'an.
