The Heart Sutra of Prajnaparamita, or Heart Sutra for short, is a Buddhist Mahayana canon with a short text but profound and subtle interpretation, which condenses the essence of the 600 volumes of the Great Prajna Sutra in only 260 words. Emperors, generals, monks, calligraphers, and writers of the past dynasties advocated writing the Heart Sutra and often wrote it. Thinking of Pu Ru, who has been a gray old man, with his ardent thoughts for his biological mother, he writes the Heart Sutra in blood, chases the eternal admiration, and prays for the blessing of the underworld, and the piety and persistence revealed between the lines are moving.
