"Volunteer Red" on the bus has formed a beautiful scenery on the bus. On May 5, 2024, a group of 13 volunteers from Weinan, Shaanxi Province, came to the bus again to carry out publicity activities.
The volunteers were divided into 3 groups and gave presentations on bus No. 4, No. 6 and No. 7. The content of the lecture includes: safe and civilized riding, filial piety first, garbage classification, etc., which are rich and colorful, and they also sing the "Song of Chinese Patriotic Volunteers" to show their identity. On the No. 6 bus, more than 30 college students who returned to school during the May Day holiday were met, and the volunteers passionately preached "Carry forward the spirit of "May Fourth" and sow the seeds of "passion", which won warm applause from the students. In addition, a volunteer preached "changing customs" in the form of a smooth mouth, and won the praise and applause of the driver and passengers, and some passengers said: "You are really good, you are welcome to use this propaganda method to promote more positive energy and improve the social atmosphere." Some passengers also picked up their mobile phones to take pictures and record videos, and said happily: "Your actions are the inheritance of Lei Feng's spirit, and I want to post the video on Douyin to let everyone know that there is such a group of volunteer propagandists on the Weinan bus." When they got on the bus, they also met an elderly man in his 90s, and two volunteers helped the elderly man to the bus and accompanied him to his home.
Through this activity, volunteers used the most down-to-earth way to communicate with the passengers at zero distance, not only increased their knowledge, but also improved their service capabilities, and at the same time they used practical actions to practice the traditional virtues of respecting the old and loving the young, helping the old and the young, and vigorously promoting the volunteer spirit of dedication, friendship and mutual assistance.
