In the past, domestic scientists often relied on foreign data processing software for the processing of pulsar data, but there were certain problems in the compatibility between different software due to the different processing steps. In order to solve this problem, Lu Jiguang and his colleagues have been working on writing a comprehensive pulsar data processing software to better conduct a variety of pulsar research.
