It is expected that in the later part of the May Day holiday (May 4-5), under the influence of the eastward movement of the upper-level trough and the southwest jet on the south side of the low-level shear line, there will be another strong thunderstorm weather process in our city, accompanied by strong convective weather such as 8 to 9 and local 10 short-term gales.
On May 4, there were moderate thunderstorms, locally heavy to heavy rain.
On May 5, the convergence of the southwest jet stream had a more obvious impact than on the 4th, and the warm and humid unstable conditions were more conducive to heavy precipitation, and there will be heavy to heavy rain.
