A watershed moment in graduation
Graduation, for our generation, is not only the end of youth, but also the beginning of a new chapter in life.
I remember that day, the sun shined through the treetops, dappled every corner of the campus.
We wore bachelor's gowns and square hats, and our faces were full of longing for the future and reluctance to give up on the past.
However, at such a hopeful moment, a female classmate in our class, whose father was the commander of the military district, made a move that shocked the whole class - she deleted all the boys' WeChat.
"What is this?!" I angrily complained in the class group, thinking that what she was doing was too much, and it was simply unreasonable.
However, as time went on, I gradually realized how naïve and arrogant I was at that time.
Behind that female classmate's behavior, there are actually her own considerations and plans.
She chose a very different path from most of us, stepping into high society, while many of us had to start over from the bottom of society.
Different starting points, different life trajectories
After graduation, we are like dandelions blown away by the wind, each looking for their own foothold.
Some choose to continue their education, some become civil servants, some inherit the family business, and some change their destiny through marriage.
And many more, like me, choose to stay in the big city, starting from the bottom and climbing up step by step.
We used to be classmates, but after graduation, our life trajectories were very different.
I used to envy my classmates who would get high-paying jobs as soon as I graduated, and I was jealous of those who easily succeeded through their family backgrounds.
However, as I became more aware of society, I came to understand that everyone has a different starting point, and we can't simply use the same ruler to measure everyone's success.
There is no need to compare mentality
In the melting pot of society, each of us faces a variety of challenges.
Some people need to worry about renting, some need to prove themselves during the probationary period, and some need to learn how to manage their daily expenses.
These practical problems make us have to let go of those unrealistic illusions and face life in a down-to-earth manner.

Comparison is human nature, but excessive comparison will only make us lose ourselves.
Everyone has their own life trajectory, and we should not blindly envy the lives of others, nor should we feel inferior because of the success of others.
The important thing is to find a lifestyle that suits you and live the way you like.
