Riding the colorful spring breeze of cultural tourism, listening to the passionate horn of music, the Zunhua Earth Song Art Troupe sounded the war drums of celebrating "May Day", celebrating labor, and singing about the earth.
On May 1, 2024, two volunteers from the Zunhua Limin and Jianming Classrooms in Tangshan, Hebei Province, assisted the Zunhua Dadi Song Art Troupe to hold a special performance on Labor Day in the Municipal Cultural Square. Volunteers have set up five literary and artistic teams in Zunhua, and under the call of the Bureau of Culture and Tourism of the People's Republic of China, they have continuously created new achievements and planned new activities, which have been praised by the Zunhua Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism. Zhang Yi, the head of the first troupe, is a retired cadre, enthusiastic about public welfare performance activities, at his own expense of more than 20,000 yuan to configure audio equipment, and cooperate with the art team to perform many times, which has won wide acclaim from everyone in the society.
At 2:30 p.m., the warm-up began. More than 200 people from 12 art troupes, dressed in festive costumes and accompanied by music, circled around the venue to show the demeanor of the working people in the new era. Subsequently, the performance officially began, and the first program was "Zunhua People Have Strength", which showed the spirit of Zunhua people's diligence and bravery, carrying forward the spirit of the poor stick and the spirit of Yugong moving mountains. The second program, "Chinese Beauty", expressed the people's love for the motherland and praise for the motherland.
The event performed 24 programs, including singing and dancing, opera, sketches, melodramas, etc., expressing the people's love for the motherland, love of labor, and common prosperity. There was a family of three in the audience who rode a small three-wheeled car to watch the show, and the little grandson was less than one year old, and he was also infected by the warm atmosphere of the scene, waving his little hands and "applauding" in style. At 5 p.m., the performance ended successfully.
