Revisions were made
After the revision, the Severe Weather Warning Signals are divided into:
Typhoon, heavy rain, severe convection, blizzard,
High temperature, cold wave, high wind, fog, haze,
Categories such as icy roads, strong winds in sea areas, sea fog, etc
There are a maximum of 4 levels of each type of warning signal
The risk level ranges from low to high
They are marked with four colors: blue, yellow, orange, and red
The new standard will be implemented from May 1, 2024
The new standard adds the "Severe Convection Warning Signal", which includes the warning of severe convective weather such as "thunder and lightning accompanied by gusts of wind, or the occurrence of hail and tornadoes", and no longer separately issues the "Thunderstorm and Gale Warning Signal" and "Hail Warning Signal".
