Remedy recently released its financial report for the first quarter of fiscal 2024, which, in addition to the studio's financial situation, also revealed the development status of games such as Control 2, Max Payne 1+2 Remastered and Condor.
The main points are as follows:
1. The remake of Max Payne 1+2 is still in the production preparation stage, and the game is expected to be fully in development in the second quarter of 2024;
2. The Control 2 development team is currently "focused on completing the proof-of-concept phase, where the game's worldview, game mechanics, and visual goals have all been validated." The game is expected to enter the pre-production stage in the second quarter of 2024;
3. Condor, a multiplayer co-op game derived from the Control IP, has entered full production, which means that the game has entered the final stages of development before launch, and Remedy said that "based on extensive internal testing, we found the core loop of the game to be engaging and brought Remedy's unique style to the genre."
4. Another of Remedy's multiplayer games, codenamed Kestral (formerly codenamed Vanguard), is still in the conceptual design phase, and the development team is refining the game concept.
