May 1 is the annual "May Day" International Labor Day. The reporter learned that in the past few days, teachers and students in Chongqing colleges and universities have stepped out of the campus, either to carry out the activity of "big hands holding small hands", using fallen leaves to organically combine aesthetic education and labor education, or to walk into the farming place to deeply feel and inherit the traditional agricultural labor.
"Wow, the fallen leaves are so beautiful, this giant puzzle is so beautiful!" On April 30, a unique labor education class was held in Yunshan Primary School in Beibei District. This Labor Day themed aesthetic education activity of "Collecting Colorful Fallen Leaves and Painting the Beauty of Labor" carefully planned by the Meimei and Gong Aesthetic Education Service Club of the Academy of Fine Arts of Southwest University made primary school students fully feel that falling leaves can also be turned into treasure. The activity revolves around the four links of "speaking", "creating", "fighting" and "exhibition", organically combining aesthetic education and labor education. In the form of "big hands holding small hands", volunteers led the students of Yunshan Primary School to clean up the fallen leaves of the campus, classify them according to the visual elements such as color and shape, make labor tools by hand around the theme of labor, and use dead branches and fallen leaves as materials to complete a huge theme creation on the ground, so that primary school students can discover, experience and create beauty in labor.

At Chongqing No. 2 Normal University, not only students, but also counselors have become the protagonists of labor. On April 29th, the theme salon of "Exploring New Ways of Labor Education - Horticultural Labor, Plant Rubbing" sponsored by the Department of Education of the Party Committee of the school and undertaken by the School of Teacher Education was held. More than 20 counselor representatives from the secondary colleges of the school tried the traditional skill of plant rubbing. Before and after the "May Day" Labor Day, the teachers and student volunteers of the Party Construction Station of the School of Architecture and Civil Engineering of Chongqing Urban Science and Technology and the party members and volunteers of the second and third party branches of students went to Dingjiayan Village, Shuangshi Town, Yongchuan District to carry out the May Day Party Day activities to help farmers plant rice. At the scene, the volunteers picked up the seedlings one after another and planted rice in the field according to the key points explained by the agricultural technicians. After a morning of hard work, the party members and volunteers helped the villagers of Dingjiayan Village complete the rice planting in their fields.
